Her mourning cup

Her true love died. It was a sudden death. Her grief and despair over his death bewildered friends as she had never once mentioned him. She keeps to herself and tends to her many distractions. It has been so long since she’s had significant contact. The hardness, wear and tear shows upon her face. She purposely keeps others at an arm’s length. He has resurrected and does appear happy. They appear happy. Perhaps it’s a delusion. Reality is she is no longer a part of his life. It is she who died.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
