While the Angels sleep

I wait for a Christmas miracle.Meanwhile an egg nog drink- supposedly, a yummy holiday tradition. I’m not impressed but ten dollars towards my lactose intolerance is priceless. I follow with a bourbon and coffee. This holiday season lacks luster. It’s been a rough year. Everyone seems affected. The air is cold and stale. The coffee is bland too. I hardly eat these days. If I’m desperate, convenient store bean & cheese burrito otherwise, a clove and red wine will suffice. Sometimes I’m a poor excuse for a human being and other times I’m making a difference in other’s lives. Well… Mass is over. I don’t think my prayers have been heard.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
