Morning sniff of ass

Once upon a Saturday, someone shared your scent. Suddenly, memories flooded my head. I remember you sorta liked me. I was your dirty little secret then you let me out of my kennel one day. Brief gasps of air and light as my reward for being tolerable. I obeyed like an abused pup. I loved our games of fetch and occasionally, a treat and heavy petting followed. The way you stroked my hair and rubbed my belly as I lay vulnerable and submissive. All puppies have their weaknesses. Eventually, a pup becomes an adult dog. You traded me for another as I grew too big and too hard to handle. I began biting back. You resented having any responsibility as my Master. You wanted to come and go freely. You wanted a squeaky toy for your lonely nights and cancelled play dates. I imagine you share the story of the pup that once was and how it became rabid. Don’t forget the ending where you dropped it at the farm. My executioner enthusiastically accepted a turkey jerk in exchange. A 12 gauge slug to the gut. It bled out in seventy-five leaving a blood trail and feces.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
