A leap of faith

I returned to apologize for the abruptness. I felt her sudden sadness. I took the pup home. I walked briskly in contemplation, the risk of losing face and faith.

She gleamed as I entered through the side. I took the least unobstructed path to her. She set her phone on the marble countertop. I fingered each of my digits. I search for my cheaters for the last four numbers. No luck, but she would verify the numbers.

I took a leap of faith. Holy Shi!

I heal with every stroke of the pen. Night Falls, I fear myself. I AM the monster underneath my bed. I do not wish to provoke you.  As you venture into my headspace, you ARE a willing participant.
