Yet we are still apart

Another year has come. Another birthday and we get older, the kids get older too, yet we are still apart. I feel you in my wake. I feel you in my sleep, yet we are still apart. I think of all things I like to say to you. If you give me a minute of your time and I can truly say I am sorry. We have only this life to live and I feel my time has run, yet here we are still apart. I will miss you until my dying day and yes, it sounds quite dramatic. I love you and I am truly sorry.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
