Dolla Store

I won’t because I just might.

I don’t because I will.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time

  1. I liked this. I won’t rate it though. I read it and it made me smile. That is all you as a writer need to know.
I taught writing and graded students’ work for 36 years. So, I’m not going to judge on a scale in retirement. I do judge a few times a year for spoken word poets in “Louder Than A Bomb Florida” state competitions. But on wordpress, I read what people write and I express my thoughts through comments. If I start judging by stars I would need to explain why in specific detail and then the teacher in me comes out. This made me smile. And so the fact that it evoked a positive emotion means you did well. That is all you need to know. Writers really shouldn’t worry about grades. As the bluapple poetry network says, “The point is not the points. The point is the poetry.”
