A thousand times

I think about her more than I should. Every time I hear Sara Bareilles’ song “1000 Times,” I think of her. The amount of energy spent has rendered myself broke. And I ask whoever is listening what’s the point?

Because I miss her, yet I keep my distance as she requested. If she only knew how passionately I loved her. If she only knew that I regret not being enough.

I go about the days without her. I am doing fine although my heart is sunk deep in my chest. I wonder if she ever thinks of me or was I a passing thought.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
