Creeper

He asked me if I “checked in”. I replied I had texted a friend on my whereabouts for the evening. He took a hard sip of his gin and tonic then joked he could be a serial killer. I studied his small frame, paused then proceeded to tell him what I do for a living. He swirled the ice and stood erect. I said I know your anatomical landmarks and smiled. He excused himself to the boys room. I turned to face the band. He never returned. Hmm.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
