A slow death

My past has ruined me. Each day I take one step forward then two steps back. I wake to my obnoxious roommate aka bitch kitty that needs to be fed (again). I roll over and try to return to dreamland…yeah, not happening. I get out of bed, stumble to the kitchen for my morning drug. I feed bitch kitty while it drips and let the dog out. I shower. I go to work. I excel in my profession. I am respected by many. The workday ends and I spend the evening watching tv, reading… and writing. I hardly sleep. Once or twice a week, I wander about the city. I get lost in the music. Music has always been my escape. Only when the music plays do I feel at ease despite a room full of stiff strangers.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
