Occupied

I dreamt of you last night. You entered the room and occupied the space. I stood still tranced by your every move. You said hi and introduced me to your lover Nathaniel. I was confused as your other lovers you hadn’t mentioned. The tailor sized you up. I inquired and you replied that you needed a new blazer. To my relief it wasn’t for a wedding dress. I turned to leave and you surprised me with a kiss as you held my hand. We talked about our boys and how they’re growing up so fast. You said time is passing us by.   I let go of your hand and waved goodbye.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
