Kite

It was to be another late night; exhausted from only 10hrs sleep in 3 days I met some friends and we acquainted ourselves over pricey old fashions. I hadn’t prepared myself to see her and her snobby lovers. I expected to be apathetic to a large degree as she hardly crosses my mind except when I need some blurred false memory to get off.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere a beautiful bird in a burgundy hat appeared. I swallowed my breath and stood motionless amongst muffled voices and shifting figures. I staggered soberly to my seat and remained silent.  I managed to enjoy the show despite feeling unsettled and nauseous.        How a fool I’d been.  A narcissist loves company and thankfully, she found her equals.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
