Barbarea vulgaris

There will come a day she will forget you. You will wake, her back at yours, and sense her coldness.  You will roll over to kiss her and she will reject your affection. She is thinking of that other lover. You can no longer tempt her. She will not change her mind. The once tender gestures neglected.  You will become nothing in her eyes.  You will leave and return, hoping that the time and distance will make her heart more attentive and forgiving.  A blank stare while she dons her coat and grabs her keys. You will try to plead your case. She will interrupt mid-sentence and say, “it’s over.”

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
