Tennessee burning

I threw Tennessee in the fire and watched it burn. I thought of my Dad and the misery that accompanied him. You are my Dad. I wanted your undivided attention yet you were too busy in other women. I knew this. Your eyes and look of disgust of what you created shot across the room. I knew then you had no intention of me. A few weeks past and another heart break. Out of desperation you saved my digits. You knew I would take you in. You knew I would fall. You fell too…briefly. I couldn’t let go. You’re a wicked pill with sugar coating. I spit you. You will never digest me again.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
