Toto, Still don’t think we are in Kansas anymore Cont’d.

Dorothy, after waking up in the poppy field, still stood, dazed and confused, next to the beautiful woman in white. Aside the the aura surrounding her, she wore a crown, and held what looked to be a wand, Dorothy curled up at her feet, wrapping her arms around the fluffy soft dress, spread around her elegant ankles, using the dress as a kind of pillow. She then pulled the dress, just a bit, to cover her face. Emerald City, with the dazzling colors, frenetic activity, had kinda put Dorothy’s mind into sensory overload. Plus, she felt safe, protected, by this creature she had never seen the likes of. A peace she hadn’t felt since she had been back on the farm. Like in the barn, snuggling with the baby lamb as it’s mother fed the soft, precious new addition to the family. Or riding Lilith, the feisty horse horse which had been hers, hers alone, since witnessing it’s birth. She loved riding her, her favorite gait the canter, or perhaps gallop, no, Dorothy smiled thinking it has got to be the canter. The smooth, easy way of becoming almost one with Lilith, bareback,no saddle needed to stay on. The finest form of transportation, riding in the light of a full moon, across the field. To be continued……

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
