A Summer Lost

I couldn’t wait for school to let out. I imagined fun- filled days and sultry summer nights with my love. She’s had me chasing my tail the last 12 months. My patience to be rewarded and reimbursed despite always busy since her ex moved to town and the bedroom next door. Everything changed suddenly or according to her; there is some residual stuff. Deceit called and left a path of destruction. Repeated nights spent curled cawing like a wounded crow as she flocked about exploring new territory. It’s a hot summer, but not as hot as Vienna.

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
