A Dance

Every person that comes into our lives is there for a purpose. We can’t force ourselves to gain a soul level longing for a person, even though they may be bringing all sorts of good things to our lives. We can love others very much, but it doesn’t mean that we will be IN love with them. Becoming sexually involved with someone isn’t the same thing as true intimacy, and if you aren’t feeling this love in your soul prior to having sex with them, the sex isn’t going to magically make that happen. It may be best for you to enjoy this person for the wonderful lessons they can teach you, instead of worrying about whether you can feel deeper feelings for them. This person may be preparing you for the true, great love of your life. Believe me, when you do feel that soul level longing for someone, you will not have any control over who they are, and you may go through some soul torture in the process. It will just ‘be’…..but you’ll be even more prepared because of the experience with your current friend. 🙂
