101 things

I imagined we work through our hardships. I imagined eventually (sometime in life) we would combine families. I imagined sending invitations to our nearest and dearest to attend our engagement party at Teatro Zinzanni. We get married in a Catholic church and have a private (family) wedding/honeymoon in Vieques. I imagined we would share a bed and every night spoon and every morning have a great conversation over coffee and a ‘have a good day kiss’ and ‘I love you’ before we’d go about our day. I would work and you would be a stay at home Mom or just work 1-2 days/wk. We watch our boys grow up. REI rock climbs, swimming, baseball games, school plays, school auctions, etc. We’d spend every holiday together and have a weekly date night if our parenting schedules allowed or at least two-three/month. We’d have our ‘alone’ or ‘friend’ time. You pursue your circus dreams…lol in trapeze and I’ll keep writing my erotica and become published. We have an adult vacation at least once a year and several ‘get-aways’ with our boys. Spring Break at Disneyland, Sea World and Lego Land. Great Wolf Lodge, camping, Oregon coast, etc. We send the boys off to college and by then Benny would go to Doggy Heaven and we could travel a bit more. We’d Pub Hop in Dublin, stay 1-2 nights in a castle and try to ‘track’ down U2. We’d ride a camel in Egypt and visit the pyramids and Pharaohs. We’d go to the Vatican, eat gnocchi, drink Chianti, and then share a cappuccino. Being partners, companions, lovers, best friends- we’d still touch and make love unlike most married folk. I imagined you were the 101 things on my list.
