Yellow

Give me a chance
To find myself
Don’t you tear down my wall
Just yet
I haven’t live here long enough
To forget
Close my eyes to try to make it all dis
Appear
I’m blind after a few still
The darkness overwhelms me
Memories as if it were yesterday
The wounds have healed
The scars remain
Moments are so precious
The bridge is not too far away
I’d give my right arm to be happy
I’d give my life to find that yellow sun

Walking a fine line between genius and insanity. My words are raw, sometimes visceral, and vulgar.  I write to settle my thoughts.  I have triggers that extract emotional immaturity, deep- rooted fears, anger, insecurity, vulnerability, yet I heal with every stroke of the pen.  I might be that monster.  I sometimes scare myself.  Please keep this in mind as you read.  I do not wish to provoke you, though stories need to be told. *not all posts are in real time
